TOTAL FILM LAUNCHES THE INAUGURAL 'MOVIE BLOG AWARDS'

To celebrate the diversity of film writing from around the web, Total Film launches its inaugural Movie Blog Awards today. The Total Film team have compiled a list of their favourite independent blogs and categorised them into genres that visitors to TotalFilm.com can vote on.

Blogs have become part of daily life for tech-savvy film fans out there and some of the bigger and longer running blogs have established themselves as trusted destinations for up-to-theminute
film news and gossip. The nominations for the first annual Movie Blog Awards
features a cross section of blogs of all genres and sizes. Mainstream blogs including Perez Hilton, SlashFilm, Hollywood Daily and The Movie Blog sit alongside the more obscure blogs such as Cult Trailers, OMG Horror and I Love Korean Movies among others.
